Dove il passo encapsulates in a work in progress the multiple associations experienced during a journey on foot, from Piacenza to the Scompiglio di Vorno estate. Walking is here interpreted as a cognitive act in which landmarks are traced, either designated by their physical peculiarities or by the events, even remote ones, of which they bear traces: points of geographic-emotional density marked by perceptual experiences (color, time, distance, fatigue) and by narratives of one’s own story or of other voices gathered on the way.
