Altro da cose is a project carried out and exhibited at the Civic Museum of Modena during the 2012 Festival of Philosophy dedicated to “things,” during which the public actively participated in the creation of the work by donating objects of personal significance. The artist’s request was: “Bring something you know you can give up and tell us about your relationship with it.” Over the course of the three-day festival, Claudia Losi, aided by a group of high school students, wrapped the collected objects one by one in black thread until they disappeared into black “spheres” of various sizes.
